Editorial policy

Weddings Hub is committed to providing accurate, helpful, and unbiased information to couples planning their wedding. This policy explains how we maintain those standards.

Supplier moderation

Applications and listing claims are moderated before publication. We check that the details are coherent and relevant. Couples must confirm insurance, availability and terms directly.

Reviews and endorsements

Weddings Hub does not currently publish customer reviews or award verified-supplier badges. Listing approval does not mean that Weddings Hub endorses a supplier.

Who checks an article

Every article names its author. Sourced guides also show the check date and the publications used. An authority source is evidence, not a claim that the organisation reviewed our wording.

We name an external reviewer only after that person has checked the article and agreed to attribution. We do not invent experts, qualifications, testimonials or first-hand experience.

Editorial content

We clearly label sponsored content or paid partnerships. Editorial recommendations are based on available evidence, not payment. Statistical claims should link to a source or explain the method used to produce them.

Sources and research

We prefer official publications, legislation, professional guidance and clearly described third-party research. Material figures should identify their date, geography and sample where those details are available. Weddings Hub does not currently operate a standing survey panel or retailer-tracking service.

Commercial separation

A paid directory position or advertisement does not buy an editorial recommendation. Commercial pages and sponsored articles must identify their purpose. Advertisers cannot approve independent editorial wording about their market.

Updating published work

We update a modification date only after a substantive change. Small spelling fixes do not create artificial freshness. Unsupported research claims may be removed or held from indexing while evidence is checked.

Corrections

If you spot an error in any of our content or supplier listings, please email our editorial team at editor@weddingshub.co.uk. We investigate reports and correct confirmed errors as soon as practical.
